Delicious Granola

  1. Preheat over to 250 Degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and coconut.
  3. In a separate bowl or measuring cup, combine brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup and mapleine), oil, and salt.
  4. Combine both mixtures by slowly pouring the liquid over the oat mixture and stirring well.
  5. Divide the new mixture in half and pour onto one (or two for double/triple) 11x17 inch rimmed baking sheets, spreading out into an even layer.
  6. Cook for 1 hour if you want the granola crunchy. Cook for 40 minutes if you want it soft.
  7. Remove from oven and let it sit for 10 minutes. Transfer into a large bowl, slightly breaking up the clumps.
  8. (optional) Add the raisins and gently mix until evenly distributed.
